Next season i will be taking a step back from the coaching of SCM Supersonics but i want my club to grow, develop and build into a formiddable force be continue to be successful as it has been, i believe moving here will encourage new players to sign up to the club and we will will continue to build and develop our members. This is a beautiful venue with a great court, we have to get use to the baskets as when we've played here before our shooting hasnt been as good but we will be running training sessions over the next couple of months to get that right."

SCM Supersonics have to settle for runners up in Teesside league.
SCM Supersonics had their fingers crossed that Hartlepool Heat could do them a favour when they hosted Middlesbrough Lions in the final Teesside League Division 1 league game of the season but Middlesbrough Lions were too strong and came away with a easy 91 - 58 victory pushing SCM Supersonics into runners up spot. Coach Butler says to only lose one match all season and not win the league is unlucky but at least it was a battle to the end this year which made it interesting for the league. We congratulate Lions for their first championship and by beating us by 25 in the first league game their deserved to win the league as we could only beat them by 18 in the second game." SCM Supersonics can still claim double trophies this season with the Durham League Divison 1 title and Teesside league Division 1 Cup so its been another successful season making the tally of 9 championship winning trophies and 4 runner up medals in the short 4 year history. Coach Butler says " We compete every season and to win 9 championships and 4 runner up medals show that we have done great over the past 4 years. We are by far the most successful local league club over the past 4 years and i hope it continues for the next 4 years."
SCM Supersonics is undergoing a few changes next season and the club are meeting next week to discuss with players and coaches how the club is to move forward and which leagues the team is wanting to enter. The Club is growing fast and its vital for the club that we can accomodate everyone who wants to be apart of the club to play at certain levels where everyone benefits.
